Who would have thought

...that I would enjoy an egg dish so much.

I have never been an egg lover. If you give me an egg by itself I will smother it. I will be polite and eat it but I will most likely not enjoy it. You must compliment it with something crunchy, bacony or give me a side of ketchup. Otherwise, I will whine (inside) until I finish the meal.

Ryan made breakfast for me! Eggs Benedict it was! Who wouldn't love the combination of english muffin, canadian bacon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce. It was my first time!

I've always wanted to try a sample of hollandaise sauce. For some reason I thought it would taste like sweet gravy. I'm not really sure where I got that idea. Man, that was some good sauce. It had a zippy tang flavor (took me awhile to realize that Ryan put lemons in the sauce). I'm glad that I don't diet (I love to eat too much to even consider giving it up), otherwise, I would be breaking a lot of rules.

BUTTER*EGG YOLKS*SALT*LEMON *PEPPER

I hope I get Eggs Benedict in the future.
