The day the earth stood still

For just one moment I wish the world would stop.
I find it hard to process information when my brain is on overload.
So here we go.
It was the day of my gram's memorial.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day to be exact!
This was my first family memorial.
Picture time was pretty hilarious.
Every time the photographer would go 1-2-3! Isak would jump.
Maddie was complaining about being too warm.  We had to make sure she kept her clothes on.

Then it was time for gram's service.
It was obviously a bittersweet...yet beautiful service.
It is wonderful that gram is in heaven with her Paul, but sad because I will miss her a lot.
**************
You could feel the presence of grammie.
Singing the hymns became difficult without crying.
(All the songs and verses were handpicked by her)
Every crack in a voice caused a tear to drop.
******
I must have went through 10 kleenex.
Snotty girl, I was!
AND FOR THE FINALE
We sang "Ill Fly Away".
Included a banjo, a mandoline, 3 guitars, akeyboard and drums.
They showed a video with gram saying "It's going to be a good day!".

If you were not crying before...that video definitely got you going.
